Pit-Fighter
Description
Pit-Fighter (SNES, 1992) is a notoriously bad port of the arcade game, heavily criticized for poor graphics, frustrating controls, repetitive music, and stripped-down features like no lives/continues and limited stages, making it widely considered one of the worst fighting games on the system, especially compared to contemporaries like Street Fighter II. Players chose wrestlers Buzz, Kickboxer Ty, or Karate Master Kato to fight through an underground tournament, but the gameplay was plagued by unresponsive controls, poor hit detection, and excessive difficulty, with the game essentially requiring button mashing to beat.
